Continue Your Homeschool Year + Simple Self-Care
This week’s curriculum invites your little learners on a journey of discovery, creativity, and growth through vibrant, hands-on adventures. Toddlers will dive into the world of green with playful activities like Five Little Speckled Frogs, garden counting games, and Farmer’s Market dramatic play. Preschoolers will explore the beauty of Japan, learning simple greetings, crafting cherry blossom trees and koinobori, and practicing math with sushi stacks and chopstick counting. Kindergarteners will join Sir Edmund Hillary on a mountain adventure, building literacy and numeracy skills through phonics games, weather journaling, and creative crafts like a moving mountain climber. Across all ages, this week blends movement, imagination, and meaningful skill-building while celebrating persistence, curiosity, and the joy of learning together.

Toddler Curriculum: A Peek Inside Week 4

Get ready to bring a burst of sunshine into your This week’s Green Unit is brimming with playful, hands-on activities designed to ignite your toddler’s curiosity and joy! Through circle time songs like Five Little Speckled Frogs and beloved stories such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Green Eggs and Ham, little learners will immerse themselves in the vibrant world of green. They’ll build fine motor skills with playdoh caterpillars, tracing, and cutting practice, while exploring early math concepts through garden counting games and lily pad leaps. Creativity shines with a fun turtle craft, and imagination takes center stage with Farmer’s Market dramatic play. Gross motor fun like Red Light, Green Light and recycling games round out a week full of movement, creativity, and meaningful skill-building, all while celebrating the magic of the color green!

This week, our preschoolers embark on a vibrant journey to Japan! From learning simple Japanese greetings and tracing iconic landmarks to crafting origami dogs, cherry blossom trees, and colorful carp koinobori, children will immerse themselves in hands-on cultural discovery. They’ll explore math with sushi stack challenges and chopstick counting, build literacy through alphabet miso soup and Japanese city word searches, and boost motor skills with karate moves and traditional games. The adventure wraps up with creating a fun bento box snack, blending language, math, art, culture, and movement into an exciting celebration of Japan’s beauty and traditions!
