Feeling blue?  You won't be once you see this Blue unit!  Jam packed with awesome goodies for you and your precious little ones.  Enjoy!

Welcome to week 2 of Home CEO's preschool homeschool for 2 and 3 year olds!
We learned all about the color blue this week. Our 2-3 year old program is broken down into 4 quarters that are 9 weeks each, with 9 holiday/special occasion units mixed in. During the first quarter, we will be learning all about colors. Want to join us? Click here and find out more.

First things first! We always start our week off by coloring and building our theme board. These coloring pages can be added to your theme board or added to your little one's art book.

Books, books, books! I love that my kids love books so much! Between both children, I think we have read Blue hat, Green Hat by Sandra Boyton a bazillion times. Mix It Up by Herve Tullet, was an accidental gem I found at the library. The kids loved it so much that we went out and bought our own copy!

I asked Porter what he was doing in this picture and he simply replied, "Making blue art." The blue unit has print outs you can use to make a collage, or just use what you have around the house!

I totally forgot to make a manipulatives shelf for the red unit. I know, I know, #momfail. Porter loved it!

This gross motor activity was so fun!! It was very easy to put together and Porter LOVED fishing.

Shadow matching may be our new favorite activity!

A and T were our focus letters this week with our letter sound tubs.

Tracing is still a new concept to Porter. He looked at what I presented at the table and then walked away! But I'm going to stick with it! He will do it when he is ready.

Sometimes this kids can be so serious.

But most of the time he is not! We worked on our ten frames flash cards all week and this kids is a pro.

Porter loves playing in water, but I don't like cleaning up after it. Since it is January in Toronto and I can't find his swim suit, we improvised with the blue week's sensory tub. I laid a blue sheet on the floor and he went to town with his boat and sea creatures!

Our new playdough mats were a big hit since Toronto is a cold snap this week!

The flash cards reappeared to help us count bubbles!

Porter also added a few new pages to his math notebook.

We took a stab at the Montessori exercises this week and they were a hit!
